"True success finds us when we are most comfortable. For over 23 years, my signature Aloha Shirts illustrate what makes me different from the standard perception of a real estate agent: I take my work seriously, without taking myself too seriously. I’m here to make the process fun, easy, educational, and most importantly, beneficial to my clients for years to come." Some good friends of mine came up with that description of my work ethic in 2001 to overcome possible initial objections to my not wearing a suit and tie. Since then, I've endeavored to make myself the most educated and experienced, Hawaiian Shirt wearing, REALTOR that I can be.
Some of my past REALTOR accomplishments have been:
- President of my local Fort Collins Board and member of their GAC; in 2012, I was honored to be voted REALTOR of the Year for Fort Collins, and in 2014, I received the Fort Collins Housing Hero Award.
- for CAR, member of the Board of Directors; Chair & Member of the following: Legislative Policy Committee, Grievance Committee, Ratification Committee; Government Affairs & Advocacy Chair; VP of Legal and Risk, and in 2021, I received the Distinguished Service Award for CAR. Additionally, in 2021, I was the NE District Finalist for the Colorado Heart Award.
- for NAR, member of the Board of Directors; Member of the following: Professional Standards Committee & State & Local Affairs Committee.
I am a former Larimer County Commissioner; I served on the Larimer County Planning Commission for over 13 years; I currently serve on the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce Local Legislative Affairs Committee since 2010; and have served on numerous City and County Boards & Committees. I'm currently serving on the Colorado Property Tax Commission. I am on the Board of Directors for Blue Federal Credit Union, and volunteer as an Ambassador for the local charity Realities for Children.
Please feel free to give me a call if you have clients coming to the area. I enjoy working with all levels of purchasers and sellers, and have a lot of fun helping parents of students purchase a home or condo for their child's housing while here at Colorado State University. I would love to share my knowledge & experience to help OUR clients find the perfect home!
